Chris Geere is an English actor best known for his starring role as Jimmy Shive-Overly, a selfish and insensitive writer living in Los Angeles, in the romantic comedy television series You're the Worst.
Geere was born in Cambridge, UK and trained at Guildford School of Acting. He began his career on stage opposite Dame Judi Dench in Royal Shakespeare Company's All's Well That Ends Well followed by a small role in HBO's Band of Brothers.
Additional television credits include BBC's The Bill, Casualty, Eastenders, Death in Paradise and Outnumbered. His first series regular role was in the war drama Bombshell for ITV.
Other series regular roles include the beloved music/drama teacher Matt Wilding in the BBC award-winning series Waterloo Road, Pete vs Life opposite Rafe Spall, The Spa and Ash Atalla's Trollied.
In film, Geere starred opposite Olivier Martinez in MGM's werewolf thriller, Blood and Chocolate, and he gained international recognition when he took over the lead role of King Edvard in the Prince & Me series.
He also starred opposite Joanna Lumley in Sky1's comedic short Little Crackers and had supporting roles in Warner Bros' Cleanskin opposite Sean Bean, and in M. Night Shyamalan's After Earth opposite Will Smith.
