Sayitsheni Mdakhi (sometimes credited as Simon Mdakhi) is a South African actor best known for his recurring role as Speshil on the e.tv soap opera Rhythm City.
He has acted in a number of other television series including the SABC1 dramas Yizo Yizo, Tsha Tsha and Home Affairs.
Mdakhi has also acted in and directed a number of theatre productions, including My Hobos, Can I get an Amen?, Who's Drinking Who?, Dance Mzansi, A-Man versus Amen and Queens Daughters.
He featured on the fifth season of the e.tv anthology series eKasi: Our Stories, in the episode entitled "Ilifa, The Will" (Season 5, Episode 45). In the episode, the husband of a dysfunctional family dies and leaves the house in his will to his illegitimate son that nobody knew existed - who in turn arrives and kicks the family out.
Sayitsheni landed his first starring role in television in 2016 when he was cast as Mark, the kid that grew up in the township doing all the right things without ever winning, in the e.tv drama series Heist. He was also a member of the script development team on the series.
