Cebile Mlaba is a South African actress best known for her role as Dimpho "Sis Dee" Mokoena, a hard-up gangster who took on the reins of her husband Ofentse's illegitimate drug and arms business, in the e.tv action series The Alliance. It was her first starring role in television.
Cebile obtained her National Diploma in Drama from the Durban University of Technology in 2007. She has since appeared in numerous television series including Mbalemnyama, Single Guys, eKasi: Our Stories, Crimes Uncovered and Mtunzini.com.
In 2013 she starred in an episode of the SABC1 drama series Intersexions, which brought her a nomination for Best Actress in a Drama at the eighth annual South African Film and Television Awards (SAFTAs), in 2014.
In 2014 she began recurring in the Mzansi Magic drama series Saints and Sinners as Mirriam, a role she reprised in Season 2 in 2016.
In 2015 she played the role of Sbu's mother Nomcebo in the Mzansi Magic soapie isiBaya.
Her theatre credits include The Crucible, Ants Job, Nothing but the Truth, Dance for Life (HIV awareness tour) and Mop Kids. She has also been featured in commercials such as Kelloggs, DStv and Ocean Basket.
