Bio
Archie Nhlapo is a South African actor and presenter best known for his recurring role as Lord of the Flies on the SABC1 soap opera Skeem Saam, from January to February, 2016.
Since his debut on the SABC1 youth series Soul Buddyz, he has gone on to guest star in numerous television series including the Heartlines film The Good Provider, the e.tv soapie Backstage, the SABC1 legal drama series Justice for All and the SABC1 soapie Generations.
He was also a presenter on the SABC1 youth programmes YoTV Big Time and Hectic Nine-9. Other shows he presented on include Mindset Learn, B-on-TV, Coca-Cola Bigtime and Coca-Cola Summahh.
Having attended The National School of the Arts, Archie has appeared in numerous theatre productions - scripted and workshopped. Shows include A Chorus Line and A Lie of the Mind (both directed by Yvette Hardie), 66367 (directed by Neo Ntlatleng) and Little Shop of Horrors, directed by William Prophet.
In August 2016 he presented the SABC1 magazine programme Art Lovers, which features interviews with artists and shares information to assist aspirant creative people in turning their art into a business.
