Nomuzi Mabena is a South African television presenter, rapper and model who rose to fame in 2012 when she came second in a Live Amp talent search on SABC1 and won the MTV Base VJ Search.
She came second on SABC1's Live Talent Search 2012, losing to Luthando "Lootlove" Shosha in the final on 11 May. In October that year she won the 2012 MTV Base VJ Search, beating Naledi Radebe and Nomzamo Mbatha.
As a result of winning the VJ search, she joined Sizwe Dhlomo on MTV Base as a VJ and featured on e.tv's music show Club 808, alongside Dineo Ranaka and Mo Flava. She made her debut on both channels on Friday 26 October.
Nomuzi also made it to the Top 6 in the Media Career Guide Presenter Search, also in 2012.
She got her start in Benoni as a model, posing for lines such as "Khosi Nkosi @ YDE" and The Trading Post, amongst many others. As a pageant queen, she held the titles of Miss Junior St. Dustan's, Miss Kensington and Miss Benoni.
In early 2014 she guest starred as herself on the Vuzu satirical mockumentary series Check-Coast and later that year was one of the guests at the Comedy Central Roast of Kenny Kunene.
Nomuzi joined Vuzu Amp as a presenter in March 2016, shortly after leaving MTV Base. In October that year she was the host of the second season of the Vuzu Amp reality series Rich Kids.
In November 2016 she began co-hosting the Vuzu Amp late night youth talk show The V-Table, with Moshe Ndiki and Larry Mncube-Nhlane.
