Bio
Chipo Mushwana is a South African entrepreneur best known for being a judge on the SABC2 entrepreneurship and educational reality series Game Plan.
Chipo is passionate about entrepreneurship and building sustainable and high impact enterprises. She has led the implementation of projects and directed and motivated teams for many years.
Her career focus has been on enterprise development with a focus on small to medium sized businesses and high growth entrepreneurs within the financial services industry. She is also a seasoned consultant with strong strategic, change management and business turnaround consulting experience.
Chipo holds a GIBS MBA in Entrepreneurship, with a background in Psychology and Industrial Sociology and an Honours degree in Marketing Management.
Her scope of project experience includes large scale systems implementations, organisational transformations and process re-engineering across Sub-Saharan Africa.
Prior to her appointment at AlphaCode, Chipo served as General Manager for DOTNXT, which honed her skills in the area of innovation management for corporates. In her role as management consultant at Fever Tree Consulting, Chipo worked with a number of African governments to implement change and drive service delivery. Earlier roles included a time as MTN Project Manager for marketing consultancy Aqua as well as other communication, marketing and research roles.
She is a board member of PROTEC (the Programme for Technological Careers), which is an independent non-profit educational service provider in South Africa specialising in science, mathematics and technology education.
In addition, Chipo is a member of the Businesswomen's Association of South Africa (BWASA) - the largest and most prominent association of business and professional women in the country.
