Bio
Jarrid Geduld is a South African actor best known for his starring role as Abie, Ellen's drug-addicted son, in the feature film The Ellen Pakkies Story, for which he won the Best Actor award at the 2018 Silwerskerm Festival.
He previously starred as street kid Twist in the 2004 feature film Boy Called Twist, based on Charles Dickens' novel Oliver Twist. This was his first screen role.
Other films he has acted in include Lost Boys of Sudan, Interrogation Room, The Flyer, 10,000 BC, The Borrowers, A Lucky Man, Zulu, Four Corners, Lina & Leo, Aophis, Drug Runner, Denizen and Honey.
Jarrid has also acted in a number of television productions including My Life Project, Die Tamat, Crimes Uncovered and Black Sails.
He landed his first starring role in television in 2019 in the kykNET drama series Dwaalster.
