Kennedy Stab is a South African actor and director best known for his recurring role as Simelane on the Mzansi Magic soapie Isibaya.

A veteran of the stage and screen, he has acted in numerous productions on stage and in television.

A graduate of the Fuba Dramatic Arts College with a Diploma in Speech and Drama,, Kennedy has appeared stage productions including Black Jesus, Hilili Halala, We Shall Sing for the Father Land, Sweet Chocolate, Crisis of Hope, Another Jive Mzala, Abangani (Lean on Me), Can U Take It, The Bunkards and Lerato's Dream.

Television shows he has acted in include the soapies Binnelanders, Backstage, Scandal!, Isidingo, Inkaba, Generations: The Legacy, Isibaya and Isithembiso; the dramas Home Affairs, Izingane zoBaba, Sokhulu & Partners, Society, and Shreds and Dreams; and the comedies Mponeng and Ke Ba Bolelletse.

Kennedy also directed two telemovies which aired on Mzansi Magic in their "Lokshin Bioskop" strand; and acted in three: No One is Perfect, Love and Poetry, and Quantum of Terror.

In 2017 he started playing the recurring role of Fingers on the Mzansi Magic telenovela Isithembiso, making his first appearance in Season 1, Episode 28 (which aired on 18 May, 2017). He turned to the role for Season 2 the following year.

In 2018 he had a recurring role as Goliath, the nemesis of Lindiwe (Sindi Dlathu), in the 1Magic telenovela The River, first appearing in Season 1, Episode 37 (which aired on 20 March, 2018). 

His character was killed off towards the end of Season 1 in a storyline featuring a crossover with the Mzansi Magic soapie The Queen, in which Harriet (Connie Ferguson) was paid R10-million to help Lindiwe kill him.

Later that year he had another recurring role, this time as Solomon in the Mzansi Magic drama series Imposter, making his first appearance in Season 2, Episode 1 (which aired on 7 October, 2018).

Kennedy later landed the starring role of Ta Lloyd in the SABC1 comedy-drama series Makoti, which premiered on 17 July, 2019.
