Bio
Dillon Windvogel is a South African actor and dancer best known for his recurring role as Vernon Booysen in the kykNET & kie soapie Arendsvlei.
He attended Belhar High School in Cape Town, matriculating in 2017.
In the same year he landed his first screen acting role when he was cast in the starring role of Ashwin, a boy from the wrong side of the tracks, in the kykNET & kie dance drama series danZ!.
The series ran for 13 episodes and later aired on sister channel kykNET NOU! as well.
Dillon was next cast in the recurring role of Tackies in the kykNET drama series Sara se Geheim (Sarah's Secret), making his first appearance in Season 2, Episode 6 (which aired on 15 May, 2018).
Later that year he played the role of Mitch in the Anton du Preez short film Mr the Fastest, a comedy-drama set in a small town about an ex-car racer who must confront his past and face a new challenger in order to stop his daughter from going down the same path he did.
He next began playing the role of Vernon Booysen in the kykNET & kie soapie Arendsvlei, making his first appearance in the series premiere on 1 October, 2018.
The following year he appeared in the comedy shorts Bhai's Cafe and Riding with Sugar.
Later in the year he was cast in the Netflix original series Blood & Water, a coming-of-age mystery drama television series in which a Cape Town teen, Puleng (played by Ama Qamata), sets out to prove whether a private-school swimming star is her sister who was abducted at birth.
In her ongoing search Puleng finds an ally and assistant investigator in Wade, played by Windvogel in his second series starring role.
