Clara Joubert is a South African actress best known for her starring role as Hess van Tonder in the TV1 sitcom Orkney Snork nie!, from 1989-1990.
Clara played the role of Elmien van Wyk in the drama series Grondbaronne and also acted in the drama Swart Kat.
She played the recurring role of Clea Smuts in the kykNET drama series Vloeksteen, making an appearance in each season of the show, in 2012 and 2013.
Also in 2013, she was the special guest in an episode of the SABC2 travel series Mooiloop!, hosted by Valiant Swart and Denvor Phokaners.
Clara starred as Lena Haasbroek in the Paul C. Venter dramas Vlug na Egipte and its sequel, Terug na Egipte, both of which aired on kykNET in 2015.
In the same year she had a role in the horror film Die Ontwaking and starred in the romantic drama Uitvlucht, which she co-wrote with her husband, Regardt van den Bergh, who also directed the film.
The following year she guest starred in an episode of the kykNET crime drama series Die Byl, appearing in Season 1, Episode 7, which aired on 23 August, 2016.
She also appeared in the drama film Sonskyn Beperk, directed by Maynard Kraak.
In 2020 Clara played the starring role of Netta, the housekeeper of the Wonderwater spa who upsets everyone she comes across, in the SABC2 sitcom Kniediep in die Warm Water.
