Roeline Daneel is a South African actress best known for her recurring role as Alta-Marie in the kykNET & kie soapie Arendsvlei.
She graduated from the University of Stellenbosch in 2007 with a BA Drama (Honours, Cum Laude) and furthered her studies with a BA Philosophy (Honours) in 2009.
She made her screen acting debut in 2011 when she was cast in the recurring role of Marike Prinsloo in the kykNET drama series Vallei van Sluiers, first appearing in Season 2, Episode 4 (which aired on 10 May, 2011).
She continued to play that role for the next two seasons of the show.
Roeline next had a guest starring role in an episode of the kykNET drama series Vloeksteen that aired on 28 May, 2013 (Season 2, Episode 3).
She had different guest starring roles in two seasons of the kykNET crime anthology series Die Boland Moorde in 2013 and 2017.
In 2016, she began the recurring role of Petro in the kykNET drama series Die Boekklub, returning to the role for Season 2 in 2017.
Roeline had a guest starring role as Emily Brand in an episode of the kykNET crime drama Die Byl which aired on 20 September, 2016 (Season 1, Episode 11). Her mother, Elsabé Daneel, guest starred in the next episode, a week later.
In 2018, she had a guest starring role as Charmaine in the second season of the kykNET drama series Sara se Geheim (Season 2, Episode 4) and returned to the role the following season.
In the same year she began playing the recurring role of Klara in the kykNET legal drama series Fynskrif, first appearing in Season 1, Episode 4 (which aired on 31 July, 2018). She returned to the role in 2019, for Season 2.
Also in 2018, she had guest starring role in an episode of the Investigation Discovery true crime series Welcome to Murdertown.
Roeline joined the kykNET & kie soapie Arendsvlei in its first season, making her first appearance in Season 1, Episode 46 (which aired on 14 January, 2019. She returned for Season 2 later that year.
In 2020 she landed the starring role of Mika in the kykNET drama series Kompleks, which premiered on 22 September.
