Buhle Samuels is a South African actress, model and influencer best known for her role as Matshidiso on the SABC2 soapie Muvhango.
Born in Soweto, she matriculated from Dominican Convent School in Johannesburg in 2007.
Buhle first appeared on television as the host of a breakfast show on the DStv general entertainment channel Africa Magic.
He big break came when she was cast as Matshidiso Mofokeng in the SABC2 soapie Muvhango, in 2014, for which she was nominated in the category "Best Newcomer" at the 2015 Royalty Soapie Awards.
She left Muvhango in 2019 to join the cast of the e.tv soapie Imbewu in the recurring role of Zandile, who had a love affair with Zimele (played by Tony Kgoroge).
She made her first appearance in the role of Zandile in Season 1, Episode 193 (which aired on 9 January, 2019). She returned to the show for the second season.
In 2020 she returned to Muvhango for a brief spell, before being cast in the starring role of Angela Masire, the gorgeous and supportive wife of Simon (Shona Ferguson), in the Netflix fantasy drama miniseries Kings of Jo'burg.
The six-part series was released by Netflix South Africa on Friday 4 December, 2020.
