Bio
Londeka Mchunu is a South African actress best known for her starring role as Sne on the Mzansi Magic soapie Isithembiso.
Born in Msinga she grew up in Clermont, a township in KwaZulu-Natal. She is the sister of actress Nelisa Mchunu.
In 2016, whilst studying corporate communications at Varsity College, a friend told her about auditions for a new telenovela produced by Bomb, and suggested she try out.
Despite having no training or any real interest in acting, she landed the starring role of Snegugu on Isithembiso, which ran for three seasons on Mzansi Magic (and later Mzansi Wethu) from 2017-2020, with more than 700 episodes.
After the show ended, Londeka landed the recurring role of Londiwe on another Mzansi Magic soapie - Isibaya - making her first appearance in Season 8, Episode 125, which aired on 25 September, 2020.
The following year she landed another starring role - this time as Zanele Zwide, Faith (Winnie Ntshaba) and Funani's (Vusi Kunene) daughter, on the e.tv soapie House of Zwide, which replaced long-running soapie Rhythm City on 19 July, 2021.
In the show her character Zanele is the apple of her father's eye – but still lives and dies by her mother's approval. Zanele practically lives on Instagram and is always rocking the Zwide family and business boat.
