Bio
Blakofe who is also a mother to two boys, was born on 25 March in Ghana. She is the daughter of a chief of the Asamankese who reside in the Eastern region of Ghana.
After her mothers death, Blakofe attended school in England and graduated from the Manchester Metropolitan University with a BA (Hons) in Social Science. She returned to Ghana to attend her maternal grandmothers funeral but she found the country to be beautiful and decided to stay.
Her first job in Ghana was as a copywriter for an advertising agency and now she presents The Morning Drive on Atlantis Radio.
For the last 8 years, Blakofe has presented and produced a number of programmes for radio and television, one of which, is the now defunct GoldBlast, which was awarded the best entertainment programme at FESPACO (African version of Cannes Film Festival) in 1998.
She also enjoys hosting live shows and concerts.
