Marin Hinkle is an American actress best known for her role as Judy Brooks on the television series Once and Again (1999-2002), and as Alan's neurotic ex-wife, Judith, on the sitcom Two and a Half Men, since 2003.
She is also known for her starring role as Samantha Bowers, the wife of Bowers Pharmaceutical C.F.O. Edward Bowers (Tate Donovan) and mother to their two young daughters, Hunter and Lily, in the television drama series Deception.
Hinkle's television credits include playing Judy (Sela Ward's sister) on Once and Again, Without a Trace, House, ER, Brothers & Sisters, Private Practice, My Own Worst Enemy, The Sarah Silverman Program and three Law & Order series.
Her feature film credits include Friends with Money, Turn the River, I Am Sam, Frequency, Dark Blue, Final, Rails and Ties, What Just Happened?, Quarantine, Imagine That, The Haunting of Molly Hartley, Weather Girl and My Eleventh.
Her theatre credits include Electra, A Thousand Clowns and The Tempest on Broadway, and Circle Mirror Transformation, Extraordinary Measures, Graceland, Miss Julie, Romeo and Juliet, Blue Window and The Dybbuk Off-Broadway.
Marin has worked extensively in regional theatres across America and has performed in California at The Geffen Playhouse, South Coast Repertory and with the Echo Theatre Company.
Born in Tanzania, Hinkle grew up in Boston. She earned a bachelor's degree from Brown University and a master's degree from New York University. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband and their son.
