Karri Turner is an American actress best known for her role as Lt. Harriet Sims on the action television series JAG, from 1997-2005.
Turner was born in Ft. Worth, Texas and raised in Bentonville, Arkansas.
She had recurring roles in the X-files, South Park and Caroline in the City.
Other credits include Suddenly Susan, Wild Oats and numerous stage productions. She has also completed 6 USO tours, visiting American troops in Baghdad, Balad, Tikrit, Kuwait, Bagram, Kandahar, Uzbekistan and South Korea.
In October 2006 she appeared on the television drama Heroes as the apparent biological mother of Claire Bennet, the "indestructible cheerleader."
Some of the other highlights of Karri's career include visiting the wounded at Walter Reid Military hospital in Washington D.C.
She's visited Ft. Hood, Ft. Irwin and was honoured to meet several of the Congressional Medal of Honour winners. She is passionate about supporting American troops.
