Actress Barbara Tyson has appeared in movies, telefilms, sitcoms, dramatic series and over a hundred television and radio commercials.
Barbara's career began in Toronto, Ontario, where she worked in an advertising agency by day, took college classes at night, and still managed to land small parts in television and theatrical productions.
Her big break came at the age of 18, when she was cast as Carol Burnett's daughter in Between Friends, an HBO telefilm starring Burnett and Elizabeth Taylor.
A few years later, Barbara Tyson landed a role on the popular daytime series Another World, portraying Dawn Rollo, the first character in daytime drama to battle AIDS.
After four seasons on Neon Rider, a popular Canadian television series, Barbara was cast in 1996 as FBI Agent Terry Carter in the syndicated action drama Two, opposite Michael Easton (Ally McBeal).
Most recently, Barbara has appeared in The Christmas Secret, opposite Richard Thomas and Beau Bridges; Final Destination, with Devon Sawa; and Cheaters, a comedy from New Line Cinema starring Mary Tyler Moore.
Tyson's other feature film credits include leading roles in Beautiful Joe, opposite Sharon Stone and Billy Connolly; Final Cut, starring Sam Elliott; and a supporting role in Pacific Heights.
Barbara, sometimes credited as Barbara Bush, has appeared as a guest star on many television series, including E.R., The Outer Limits, Poltergeist, and Alien Nation.
She has also appeared on numerous sitcoms, including a memorable role on Murphy Brown as Bambi, the secretary who ran a phone-sex service from her desk.
