Christel Khalil is an American actress best known for her starring role as Lily Ashby on the television soap opera The Young and the Restless, since 2002.
Khalil joined the cast of The Young and the Restless in July, 2002 as Lily Winters, the daughter of Drucilla and Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John). She left Y&R in September, 2005, returning to the series in November, 2006. Lily married the love of her life, Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard), but soon after was diagnosed with ovarian cancer.
Khalil's feature film credits include a starring role in White Like the Moon, as well as supporting roles in Interview with the Assassin, Milo the Kid, Matilda and Dragonfury.
She provided the voice of Cornelia Hale in the animated television series W.I.T.C.H. Khalil also guest-starred on Malcolm in the Middle and That's So Raven.
In 2003 and 2004, Khalil was nominated for a Young Artists Award, which recognises Hollywood's teen and child stars, for Best Performance in a TV Series. She was nominated for a Daytime Emmy in the category of Outstanding Younger Actress in a Drama Series in 2004, 2006 and 2010.
In 2008, Khalil received her first NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Actress in a Daytime Drama, an award for which she was also nominated in the same category in 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2009.
Khalil lives Los Angeles with her husband and son. In her spare time she enjoys dancing, singing and horseback riding.
