Bio
Dewald Reynecke is a South African actor, dancer and talent agent best known for his starring role as Jaco Geldenhuys on the e.tv soap opera Scandal!.
He has acted in numerous other television series including Egoli, 7de Laan, FONT, The Coconuts, Getroud Met Rugby, The Mating Game, Thysnywerheid, Villa Rosa, Rhythm City and A Man Worth Knowing.
He also had a minor role in the M-Net crie series Crime Uncovered, in 2012; and a guest starring role on the SABC1 soapie Generations in 2014.
Born in Vanderbijlpark, Reynecke had dreams of becoming a vet as a child but changed his mind in Matric. After school, he went on to star in children's theatre, taking various animal roles such as The Cow – which happens to be one of his most memorable roles - and The Duck – his most embarrassing one.
He joined the talent agency Artist Connection in 2006 as an agent and his birthday is 4 August.
