Duane Martin is an American actor best known for his starring role as handsome, smart and thoroughly modern Robert James Sr. in the television sitcom All of Us, from 2003-2007.
Martin's television credits include lead roles in Out All Night, Getting Personal, which he also produced and Sugar Hill, as well as guest star appearances in Girlfriends, Yes, Dear and Living Single. He also starred in the television movies Mutiny and Mr. Headmistress.
Martin also starred with Kelly Rowland in a film he produced and wrote, The Seat Filler. He also starred in and co-wrote the film Ride or Die.
He has appeared in White Men Can't Jump, Above the Rim' Woo, Fakin' Da Funk, Scream 2, Any Given Sunday, with Al Pacino and Jaime Foxx; Deliver Us From Eva, with L.L. Cool J and The Groomsmen.
Martin owns Impact Sports, a sports management agency he founded. As a sports agent, he handles the careers of many top athletes in the NFL, NHL and Major League Baseball.
Bartolo Colon, the pitcher for the Anaheim Angels, and NFL stars Jamal Lewis, Chris McAllister, David Boston and Robert Griffith are just some of the all-star athletes on Martin's roster. Martin, who himself was drafted into the NBA, chose to leave the pro-sports industry to tackle Hollywood.
He has been married to actress (and fellow All of Us star) Tisha Campbell-Martin since 1996.
In 2013 he began starring as a fictional version of himself in the comedy-improv reality television parody series Real Husbands of Hollywood.
