Bio
Carol Behane (sometimes credited as Carol Selepe) is a South African actress best known for her role as Lebo Sibiya in the SABC1 drama series Zone 14.
Other television series she has acted in include Justice for All, Gaz'lam, Keletso, Khululeka, Yizo Yizo and Soul Buddyz.
She also played a minor role in the 2005 feature film Blood Diamond.
In theatre, she has performed in productions of Mama's Love and Mfowethu (both directed by Gibson Kente), Umkhaya Lo, Woman in Spirit, Bound by Love and Things We Do (when we are bored).
She played the lead role of Portia Mohapi, a wife who cheats on and plots the murder of her wealthy husband, in the hour-long drama Secret Lovers, which aired on e.tv in October 2009 as part of the eKasi: Our Stories collection written and directed by Vusi Twala.
She also starred as Sheila, a 40-something-year-old single mother who struggles to make ends meet and falls in love with a 20-year-old, in the eKasi drama Chicken Murder (Season 4, Episode 9), in 2012.
Carol appeared in a third episode of eKasi in 2013, in the episode entitled "Ngamla".
In 2016 she starred in an episode of eKasi: Our Stories entitled "Fak'imali Uzobona" (Season 6, Episode 13) about an emotionally unstable woman who discovers that her long term fiance has impregnated another woman.
She is fluent in Zulu, English, Sotho and Tswana.
