Mortimer Williams is a South Africa actor best known for his starring role as Ricci September in the SABC2 drama series Erfsondes.
Mortimer's stage career began in 1995 where he performed in David Kramer and Taliep Peterson's show Poison. Since then he has been seen in Fiddler on the Roof, Grease - The Musical, Fiela's Child, Evita and Grease - The Stadium Spectacular.
Mortimer has worked in three Richard Loring productions namely African Footprint, The Young Ones and That'll Be The Day - the Legend of Buddy Holly.
He also performed the lead role in Anthony Drew's Honk for which he received a Vita Award nomination.
His career highlights include performing with international artists namely Marsha Barrot (Boney M) and Bon Jovi.
Mortimer has appeared in various television soapies such as 7de Laan, Isidingo and Scandal!, as well as kids drama Soul Buddyz.
In 2010 he joined the main cast of the SABC2 sitcom Rasdien as Mannie Rasdien, the over-achieving brother of Ben Rasdien (played by Joey Rasdien).
In 2013 he had a starring role as Clifton "Cliffy" Adonis, the flamboyant "sister" from the Cape Flats who enjoys subduing would-be criminals, in the SABC3 sitcom Safe as Hauser's.
