Bio
Anthony Oseyemi is a South African actor, writer, musician and producer of Nigerian descent who was born and raised in the United Kingdom and subsequently relocated to South Africa.
In 2006 he was selected as the host of the first ever Survivor: Africa, the television reality competition based on the US Survivor format.
He had a starring role in the e.tv drama series Shooting Stars from 2007-2010.
Fluent in both English and Yoruba Anthony completed his post graduate studies in the UK before relocating to Africa and is currently based in South Africa.
Anthony received his honours degree in Performing Arts from the University of North London and went on to guest roles in various UK TV shows including BBC's medical drama Holby City (2005) and ITV's The Bill (2003).
He had a recurring role in the 2002/2003 series Is Harry On The Boat? and in 2005 he played a guest role on the Channel 4 comedy series Coming Up, in the episode entitled "Viva Liberty" (Season 3, Episode 7).
In 2007 he played the role of Goodman in the made-for-TV movies Mein Traum von Afrika and Mein Herz in Afrika and played a minor role in the 2007 feature film Flood.
In 2008 he was the presenter of the short-lived reality modeling competition Model Million$ that premiered on SABC3 on 1 October 2008. On 10 November 2008 SABC3 announced that the series had been cancelled as a result of lack of funds.
In 2012 he starred in an episode of the e.tv anthology series Mzansi Love: Ekasi Style entitled "Something's Cooking", based on the Nollybook novel Recipe for Love by Charleen Naidoo.
He also starred as Nigerian expert on all things paranormal, voodoo man Solomon Onyegu, in the SABC1 science fiction television series Room 9, from 2012-2013.
