Maurizio Farhad (sometimes credited as Maurizio Rasti) was a contestant on the reality television competition Kept, in 2005, in which a number of men competed to become supermodel Jerry Hall's "kept man".
Since the show ended he has turned to acting, landing small roles in the television series E-Ring and Union Jackass.
He also appeared in the movies The Slaughterhouse Massacre (2005), Without You (2005), G.I. Jesus (2006) and Waking Dreams (2007).
In 2007 he began playing the recurring role of Sheik Omar al Sayed in the teen drama series Wildfire, which airs in the USA on the ABC Family channel.
