Bio
Christopher B. Duncan is an American actor best known for his starring role as hotel employee Braxton P. Hartnabrig on the television sitcom The Jamie Foxx Show, from 1996-2001.
He also starred as President William Johnson in the television sitcom The First Family.
Duncan is from Colorado Springs, Colorado. He received his B.F.A. in acting from The University of Colorado, Boulder. He also worked with The Colorado Shakespeare Festival.
Additional theatre credits include The Old Settler at The Pasadena Playhouse for which he received an Ovation award nomination, Black Star Line at The Goodman Theatre in Chicago, Rosetta Street, How The Other Half Loves and Equus at The West Coast Ensemble.
He received an NAACP Theatre award nomination for Best Actor in the Los Angeles Production of Full Court Press.
Christopher also starred in the short-lived sitcom Aliens in America (2007-2008) and had recurring roles on Coach, Soul Food, The District, Veronica Mars, Lincoln Heights and Hero Factory.
He has had guest starring roles on numerous television shows including thirtysomething, Family Matters, Martin, Living Single, The Parkers, CSI, 24, CSI: Miami, Shark, iCarly, Boston Legal, ER, Reed Between the Lines and Jane by Design, among others.
He is also known for playing President Barack Obama on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
