Brian Turk is an American actor best known for his role as Gabriel in the award-winning HBO television series Carnivàle, from 2003-2005.
Turk was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. His family moved to Southern California before his first birthday, and has lived in California ever since. He played college football for the University of Southern California, and currently plays in a league when he isn't busy acting.
Turk began acting professionally in 1993. His first job was a Budweiser commercial. Since then, he has appeared in roughly numerous movies, television shows and commercials.
He is best known for his portrayal of Adrienne Barbeau's strong-man son, Gabriel, in the HBO series Carnivàle. Turk has also appeared in General Hospital, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, The Jamie Foxx Show, The Pretender, ER, Cybill, Beverly Hills, 90210 and Two and a Half Men.
Film roles include Big Fat Liar, American Pie II, Artificial Intelligence, Crocodile Dundee in LA and Lost World.
