Diane Salinger (born 1951) is an American actress and voice actress best known for her role as Apollonia in the television series Carnivàle, from 2003-2005.
Salinger's film roles include Big Adventure and Batman Returns. She has performed with Jeff Bridges, Michael Caine, George Clooney, Gary Oldman, Danny DeVito, Demi Moore, William Hurt and Jane Fonda.
Her TV credits include Curb Your Enthusiasm, which won the Golden Globe Award, ER, NYPD Blue, Law & Order and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.
Salinger received the LA Drama Critics Circle Award for her portrayal of a schizophrenic in Standing On My Knees. She has performed Shakespeare and contemporary plays in New York and throughout the US.]
After the LA riots, Salinger started an acting workshop for at-risk kids. While continuing her busy acting career, she has her own acting school, in which students improvise, create a play, showcase it and shoot it as a film, which she will direct.
She recently directed and choreographed pieces from Anna Karenina for an audience including Oprah Winfrey and directorproducer Ivan Reitman.
