Greg Kinnear is an Academy Award- and Emmy-nominated American actor best known for his supporting role in the 1998 movie As Good As It Gets.
Kinnear made his feature film debut in director Sydney Pollack's remake of Sabrina, starring opposite Harrison Ford and Julia Ormond.
Following his Oscar-nominated performance in As Good As It Gets, he co-starred in Nora Ephron's hit romantic comedy You've Got Mail with Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan, and Mike Nichols' What Planet Are You From? with Garry Shandling and Annette Bening.
Kinnear's other credits include The Last Song, opposite Miley Cyrus; the comedies Baby Mama, opposite Tina Fey and Ghost Town with Ricky Gervais; the drama Flash of Genius, with Lauren Graham; The Matador with Pierce Brosnan; and in the critically-acclaimed biopic of actor Bob Crane, Auto Focus, for director Paul Schrader.
He voiced the character Ratchet for the animated film Robots, and has also starred in We Were Soldiers with Mel Gibson; HBO's Dinner with Friends, for Norman Jewison; the Farrelly brothers' comedy Stuck on You, with Matt Damon; Sam Raimi's supernatural thriller The Gift, alongside Cate Blanchett and Katie Holmes as well as director Neil LaBute's black comedy Nurse Betty, opposite Renee Zellweger, Morgan Freeman and Chris Rock.
In 1991, Kinnear became the first host of Talk Soup, which he did until 1995, when he left the show for the NBC late-night talk show, Later with Greg Kinnear (1994).
In 2011 he starred as Jack Kennedy in the television mini-series The Kennedys, for which he was nominated for an Emmy Award in the category Best Lead Actor in a Miniseries or Movie.
Kinnear married British former Page 3 glamour model Helen Labdon in 1999. They have three daughters: Lily Katherine (born September 2003), Audrey Mae (born June 2006) and Kate "Katie" Grace (born 2009).
