Bio
Born in Virginia, US Mia Cottet left home at 14 to study at the School of American Ballet in New York. Ballet was not to be her life, however, and after touring the world's glamorous hotspots as a showgirl, she made the transition into acting.
Since hitting Hollywood, Mia has enjoyed playing roles on the big screen in Intolerable Cruelty directed by the Coen brothers, The Tuxedo opposite Jackie Chan for DreamWorks, Nine Months starring Hugh Grant and directed by Chris Columbus, as well as the hit comedy Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion.
Mia's many television roles run the gamut from being the object of Chris Isaak's affection, guest starring on The Chris Isaak Show for Showtime to the trophy wife of a racist muffler shop owner as a series regular on Living in Captivity for Fox TV. She performed in the pilots Point Pleasant (FOX), Can We Keep Her (NBC), Platypus Man (FOX), The Long Game (ABC), and Hiller and Diller (Disney) and has guest starred on numerous television shows such as Providence, Gideon`s Crossing, Two Guys and a Girl, and Coach just to name a few.
Mia loves disco, hates working out, and when she is not acting enjoys traveling, seeing movies and going to the opera.
