Bio
Nina Swart is a South African actress and television presenter best known for her role as Wilmien de Lange in the SABC2 soap opera 7de Laan, from 2000-2004.
She also hosted the first season of the SABC2 music show Pitstop, in 2005. She left the show after the first season and was replaced by her sister, Lise.
Having graduated from the University of Stellenbosch in 1998 with a BA Drama (Hons.), Nina subsequently accumulated a large body of work in theatre.
Stage shows she has acted in include Lunch Girls (1997), Electra (1997), Die Vryerige Spook (1998), Oenskynlik, Yermer, Spanner, Varkplaas and Balle.
She played Wilmien de Lange on 7de Laan from 2000-2004, after which she presented Pitstop on SABC2. She also had a recurring role in the sci-fi series Charlie Jade in 2005.
That same year she landed the leading role of Nina Jansen in the M-Net drama series Known Gods.
She joined the cast of the SABC1 drama series Interrogation Room for its third season, playing the role of Captain Lesley Stanford, in October 2007. She reprises her role for the fourth season, which airs on SABC1 from 14 August to 6 November, 2008.
