Bio
Best known in the UK as the presenter of Channel 4’s World Superbike coverage Warren Pole is a print journalist and TV presenter with an enthusiasism for speed and dangerous challenges.
Most recently Warren's been travelling Europe in search of danger and adventure for Discovery Channel's Ultimate Biker Challenge. While filming the show he continued to work as a freelance journalist and writer for FHM, FRONT and the Mail on Sunday.
Warren’s strength lies in his approach to a story. Just witnessing something isn’t enough for him, instead, craving action and a true taste of whatever’s really going on, he is fixed on being as involved as possible with his subject and will stop at nothing to make that happen.
In 2005 and 2006 this approach has seen him entering the World Barbecue Championship in Memphis armed with no more than a disposable barbecue and a packet of value sausages for Loaded magazine. He's been made to exercise until he was sick and dived through the ice in a frozen lake with the Royal Marines for the Mail on Sunday and FRONT Magazine.
It was his lust for life that made him a journalist and his passion for the job that lead him quite by chance to his first presenting break on the TV show Men and Motors.
Here he honed his basic presenting skills in front of a modest audience before realising that just maybe he could make a go of presenting.
A major quest followed, and the leap to Channel 4 in 2005 was the result he was looking for, propelling him to regular presenting work and enabling him to really establish his technique.
