Tristan Wilds is an American actor best known for his television roles as Michael Lee in The Wire (2006-2008) and as Dixon Wilson in 90210, from 2008-2013.
Born in Staten Island, Tristan was inspired to act by his brother Tai, who's an actor.
In 2005 he made his TV debut as AJ in the mini-series Miracle Boys, directed by Spike Lee, Bill Duke, LeVar Burton, Ernest Dickerson and Neema Barnet.
After this he worked in theatre projects doing a workshop for The Roundabout Theatre Company, where he worked with Phylicia Rashad, and he played the role of Brice in a workshop of Stockholm Brooklyn for the Cherry Lane Theatre.
In 2006 he was cast as Michael Lee in The Wire and also made his big screen debut starring opposite Ryan Gosling in the feature film Half Nelson, which just premiered at the 2006 Sundance Film Festival.
He is a cousin of fellow The Wire star Jermaine Crawford.
