James Gammon is an American actor best known for his role as Nick Bridges, the father of Don Johnson's title character, on the television series Nash Bridges, from 1996-2001.
He also played the character of Zack Rosswell in eight episodes of The Waltons, and appeared in eight episodes of Homefront in the role of Coach Zelnick, from 1992-1993.
Gammon is also known for appearing in television series and movies of the Western genre.
