Bio
Jeff Moloi is a South African radio and TV presenter and journalist best known to TV audiences for anchoring the sports news on e.tv.
Jeff was born in Umtata, matriculated at St. John College in 1988 and did a four year teaching degree at the University of Transkei, where he majored in English and History.
After graduating in 1992 with English and History majors he taught at a high school in Umtata. While teaching he helped establish the Unitra community radio station and in 1998, once the station was up and running, he decided he needed a change in career to focus on something that would allow him to reach more people.
He left teaching, joined East Coast Radio in Durban where he presented sport on Daryl Illbury’s Breakfast Show and also joined e.tv as a Durban reporter.
In 2002 he moved to Johannesburg to join e.tv permanently, working as a producer, sports anchor and sports editor.
In April 2005 he left e.tv to join Kaya FM where he currently presents sport. He also freelances for e.tv and regularly anchors the sports news on e.tv's news shows.
