Neal Carlson is an American rock singer best known as a contestant on the first season of the reality television competition Rock Star, in 2005.
He was the third person eliminated from the show.
Neal was born and raised in Queens, New York. He has one brother. Neal attended SUNY Brockport College where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications. He also attended Middlesex University in London.
Neal is a full time employee for a non-profit agency. He started out performing in coffee shops and dive bars in New York's lower east side.
Shortly after releasing his solo acoustic debut album titled Pseudovibe, he put together a rock-n-roll band called Bona Roba.
