Christine Baranski is an American actress best known for her role as Maryann Thorpe in the television sitcom Cybill, starring on the show for all four seasons, from 1995-1998.
She won the 1995 Emmy award for Outstanding Supporting Actress - Comedy Series for her role.
Baranski also played the lead role of Marsha Bickner in the short-lived series Welcome To New York, from 2000-2001.
She currently plays the role of Diane Lockhart on the television drama series The Good Wife, since 2009.
She has had recurring roles on Flipper, Another World, All My Children, Law & Order, Now And Again, Presidio Med and Ghost Whisperer.
She has also guest starred in numerous television shows, including Combat! (her screen debut in 1966), 3rd Rock From The Sun, Frasier, Citizen Baines, Happy Family and American Dad!

Baranski has been married to actor Matthew Cowles since 15 October 1983. The couple have two daughters: Lily (b. 1984) and Isabelle (b. 1987).He currently plays the role of Will Gardner on the television drama series The Good Wife, since 2009.
