Bio
Charley Boorman is an English actor, adventurer and writer best known for his travel documentary series Long Way Round, which he made with his best friend, actor Ewan McGregor.
In 2004 Boorman and McGregor travelled from London to New York via Europe and Asia and documented their travels in Long Way Round. During the filming of this Boorman promised he'd take part in the Dakar Rally and in 2006 he filmed his experience in the documentary series Race to Dakar.
In 2007 Boorman and McGregor will team up again for a second adventure entitled Long Way Down which will take them from John o'Groats in Scotland to Cape Town, South Africa.
Boorman had a role in the 1991 television series Love At First Site.
He has had guest roles in the television mini-series Picture Windows and Karaoke.
He has also had roles in the made-for-TV movies Le Peloton d'exécution (aka Firing Squad) (1991) and Commissaire Dumas D'Orgheuil (1993).
