Gene Hackman is an American actor known for numerous leading and supporting roles in feature films.
Among his best known films are The French Connection (which won him his first Oscar in 1972), The Poseidon Adventure (1972), Superman: The Movie (1978), Mississippi Burning (1988), Unforgiven in 1992 (which won him his second Oscar), Crimson Tide (1995), Get Shorty (1995), Extreme Measures (1996), Absolute Power (1997), Enemy of the State (1998), and The Royal Tenenbaums (2001).
Hackman has not appeared in a television show since 1968, but before then he guest starred in a number of shows:
