Bio
Louise Barnes-Boraine is a South African actress and voice artist best known to television viewers for her starring role as Jocelyn Del Rossi in the drama series Jozi-H, in 2007.
Born in Natal, Louise graduated from Wits University in 2006 with a BA Honours degree in Dramatic Art, First Class.
It was during her final year of study that she landed her first professional role - in the SABC TV miniseries Where Angels Tread. She has since worked in theatre and both local and international television and film.
Television productions include Egoli, 7de Laan, Binnelanders, Scandal!, Sorted, Suburban Bliss, SOS and the South African/Canadian co-production Jozi-H.
She also appeared in the feature film Surviving Evil (with Billy Zane) and The Sinking of the Laconia, a BBC miniseries with Franka Potente and Brian Cox.
When in South Africa, Louise lived in Johannesburg with her husband and daughter. She once co-owned a health studio after training in the USA as an instructor of Bikram yoga. She is also a voice over artist and can be seen in local and international commercials.
Her favourite holiday destination is Thailand and her secret ambition is to be a trapeze artist.
In 2014 she had a role in the Starz pirate drama series Black Sails.
In 2016 she relocated to Los Angeles with her family and was cast as Moregon on Season 2 of WGN America's drama series Outsiders.
