Bio
Michael Wood is a British historian, writer, television presenter and documentary maker best known for hosting historical documentary series, with a focus on India.
Educated at Manchester Grammar School and at Oriel College, Oxford Wood specialised in Anglo-saxon history which resulted in his television debut in 1981 in the BBC series In Search Of The Dark Ages.
