Bio
Reid Scott is an American actor best known for his leading television roles as Bobby O'Neil in It's All Relative (2003-2004) and as Brendan Dorff in My Boys, from 2006-2010.
He is also known for his starring role as Dan Egan, deputy director of communications who is a highly ambitious up-and-comer in DC who takes pride in his contacts and networking skills, in the satirical comedy television series Veep.
After a recurring role on the hit series American Dreams and guest appearances on CSI and That '70s Show, Scott hit the big-time with a lead role in the comedy series It's All Relative.
His other television credits include a regular role on All My Children, the lead role in the pilot With You in Spirit, and the telefilm Revenge of a Middle-Aged Woman, with Christine Lahti, as well as guest-starring roles in the Farrelly brothers comedy pilot Unhitched and the comedy The Ex-List.
His film credits include the thriller Amusement, Bickford Schmelckler's Cool Ideas and Caprice Crane's short Passing the Time, based upon her best-selling novel, Forget About It.
Scott's theatre credits include performances in Much Ado about Nothing, Miss Julie, Cargo and The Duel.
In 2010 he joined the cast of the Showtime comedy-drama series The Big C, playing Cathy's (Laura Linney) oncologist and friend.
A graduate of Syracuse University, he also plays guitar and drums.
