Bio
Simon Ward (19 October, 1941 – 20 July, 2012) was an English actor best known in modern times for his role as Sir Monty Everard in the television legal drama series Judge John Deed, from 2003-2007.
He is also known for his role as Bishop Gardiner in the period drama television series The Tudors, from 2009-2010.
Ward died after a long illness on Friday 20 July, 2012, with his family at his side.
