Bio
Zachary Levi is an American actor best known for his comedic television roles as Kipp Steadman in Less than Perfect (2002-2006), and as Chuck Bartowski in Chuck, from 2007-2012.
In addition to Chuck, Levi played the lead in the independent film Shades of Ray (2008), about the struggle of a Pakistani man and his upcoming wedding. He also stars in the comedy Weiners, also starring Keenan Thompson, also in 2008.
On the big screen, Levi starred opposite Martin Lawrence in the hit comedy Big Momma's House 2 (2006). Levi portrayed a comically awkward FBI agent who learns the ropes as Lawrence's partner - and made some moves of his own with the ladies.
Levi appeared in four seasons of the comedy series Less Than Perfect, as the quick-witted, scheming Kip Steadman, alongside Sara Rue, Andy Dick and Eric Roberts.
Also on the small screen, Levi portrayed a potential boyfriend of Charisma Carpenter's character of Jane in the television movie See Jane Date (2003). He also earned good reviews for his guest appearances on Curb Your Enthusiasm and The Division, and for his supporting role in the television movie Big Shot: Confessions of a Campus Bookie (2002).
Born in Lake Charles, Louisiana, Levi eventually made his home in Ventura County, California. He began acting in theatre at the age of six, performing lead roles in regional productions such as Grease, The Outsiders, Oliver, Godspell, The Wizard of Oz and Big River.
It was his portrayal of Hank in a production of Marvin’s Room, however, that brought him to the attention of Hollywood.
A devoted philanthropist, Levi is committed to serving his community through organisations which improve the human circumstance.
He currently resides in Los Angeles.
