Nolwazi Shange (known as Nolwazi Shange-Ngubeni since 2017) is a South African actress best known for her starring role as Mbali "Lady M" Kubeka on the e.tv soapie Scandal!, from 2021-2023.

She was previously known for playing the character Precious in the second season of the SABC1 drama series A Place Called Home, from 2008-2009.

She won the Best Supporting Actress SAFTA (South African Film and Television Award) for her role as Precious at the fourth annual SAFTA Awards, which took place on 20 February, 2010.

Nolwazi also guest starred in the first episode of the third season of the SABC1 drama series Mtunzini.com in the role of Zinhle, the youngest of three daughters accused of killing their tyrannical mother.

The episode - entitled "The Three Sisters (Part 1)" - aired in 2009.

She had a starring role in the 10th season of the SABC1 drama series Soul City, in 2010.

In 2013 she had a recurring role as Kwezi, the tough, down-to-earth next door neighbour who sees right through the boys' nonsense, in the SABC1 sitcom Single Guys.

She played the role of Kgomotso on the soapie Zabalaza from May to November in 2013.

She left the show to pursue other projects and was replaced by Nonhle Thema.

Other shows she has acted in include the SABC1 drama series Intersexions, the e.tv comedy-drama Mzansi Love, the SABC3 drama Thula's Vine and the SABC2 comedy-drama Ak'siSpaza.

Nolwazi landed her first starring role in television when she was cast as Sheila, an adventurous, independent and highly ambitious woman known for her impolite and brutal delivery of the truth, in the SABC1 drama series Mina Nawe.

The series premiered on 14 May, 2017.

She also starred as Sibongile in the 1Magic thriller series Mzali Wami, which premiered on 2 January, 2021 and also aired on Mzansi Magic and Mzansi Wethu.

She returned to the role for Season 2, in 2022.

Nolwazi had a recurring role on the 1Magic soapie The River as Minister Patience Mhlongo, appearing in Seasons 2 and 3 (2019-2021).

She returned to the show in Season 5 in the new recurring role of Gugu, making her first appearance in Season 5, Episode 159, which aired on 15 September, 2022.

Nolwazi also starred as Mbali "Lady M" Kubeka on the e.tv soapie Scandal!, making her first appearance in July 2021.

In the show her character hails from a snobbish family who did not approve of her nuptials to her husband Jojo (played by Melusi Mbele).

By the end of her run on the show, the character of Lady M went form being Jojo's loyal wife to a conniving stalker who wants no one around her husband.

She is killed in a fight by the character Petunia (Makhosazana Ndlovu), with her last appearance on the show on 15 February, 2023.
