Frank Fontana is an American interior designer best known for winning the Martha Stewart-themed reality series The Great Domestic Showdown, in 2004.
Born and raised in New York, Fontana first took the domestic arts learned from his Italian mother and grandmother to West Palm Beach, Fla., where he formed Icon Entertainment Productions, a top event planning/design business.
He made the move to L.A. some years ago, planning events for some of Hollywood's biggest names. Fontana turned his attention to interior design as well and Frank Fontana Designs handles residential, office and commercial projects.
He burst onto the TV scene in 2005 when he won ABC's The Great Domestic Showdown.
From ABC, Fontana quickly moved to TLC where he landed a featured role on the one-hour documentary-style unscripted program Faking It. With cameras rolling, Fontana spent a month mentoring a woman from Texas on how to become a domestic goddess.
With Fontana’s help, the woman won the competition.
