Bio
Mimi Abu-Andani (27) is a Ghanaian PA from Accra best known as one of the 12 housemates on the third season of the reality television competition Big Brother Africa, in 2008.
She was the fifth housemate to be evicted, on Sunday 19 October 2008.
A personal assistant to the CEO of an engineering firm, Mimi is an extrovert who is not afraid to speak her mind and dislikes opportunists and hypocrites.
She describes herself as a bit complicated and says that entering Big Brother has already changed her life.
Asked about her strategy, she says, "My strategy in the house will be very complicated because I’m going to be partly myself and partly not, so you can’t really tell you know. Just watch out."
Describing music as food for her soul, Mimi says she enjoys VIP, 4x4, P Square, 2Face, Beyonce and Alicia Keys. She says that dancing is also a passion for her, and reveals that her special talent is salsa dancing.
Given the opportunity, she’d love to visit Spain, the Caribbean and Cuba. She’s a fan of Denzel Washington and Angelina Jolie and her favourite movie is The Fighting Temptations.
She says if she could teach the world one thing, it would be to "mind their own business and stick to their lanes (no crossing)."
