Bio
Glen Gabela is a South African actor best known for his role as Shaka (age 15-19) in the 1986 award-winning television mini-series Shaka.
He has acted in numerous feature films including Okavango (1989), Warriors from Hell (1990), The Ghost and the Darkness (1996), Soldiers of the Rock (2003) and Red Dust (2004).
He has also acted in the made-for-TV movies Guns of Honour (1994), Score (2006) and the Heartlines film The Good Fight (2006).
Television series he has appeared in include Generations, Isidingo, Backstage, Justice For All and Molo Fish.
He was the lead actor in the theatre production Somdaka.
Glen plays the role of Pastor Solomon, a council ward member who has to vote on whether the public pool will be rezoned to create the Hopeville Trust Discount Drive-Thru Liquor Mart, in the SABC2 mini-series Hopeville, from March to April, 2009.
