Synopsis
Cheryl Cole stars in a one-off special, performing songs from her new album and welcoming some of the artists who have been her musical heroes, friends and influences including Rihanna, Will Young and Alexandra Burke.
Other musical artists include will.i.am and Snow Patrol.
Since bursting to fame in 2002 on Popstars The Rivals, Cheryl has fast become one of the UK's best loved stars as one fifth of Girls Aloud – one of the most successful girl groups ever in the UK with a string of 20 consecutive top ten singles; as an X Factor judge, winning the 2008 contest with her protégée Alexandra Burke herself now a number one selling artist; and more recently as a hugely successful solo artist with her debut solo single Fight For This Love going straight into the charts at number one and becoming the fastest selling single of 2009.
Cheryl's album 3 Words followed, again going straight to number one.
Cheryl says "2009 has been an incredible year for me with a number 1 single and a number 1 album and being part of the X Factor. And I couldn't be happier that ITV have asked me to round off the year with my own show, working with some of my favourite artists."
Cheryl Cole's Night In was executive produced by Claire Horton and Michael Kelpie and produced by Simon Marsh for ITV Studios.
