Real Chance of Love is an American reality television dating game show created by Cris Abrego and Mark Cronin and featuring two brothers Ahmad Givens (Real) and Kamal Givens (Chance), of the rap group The Stallionares and former contestants on I Love New York, who are looking for love.
The series aired in the USA on VH1 from 20 October, 2008 to 26 October, 2009. There are 26 hour-long episodes in two seasons.
Real Chance of Love premiered in South Africa on DStv's Vuzu channel on Monday 30 January 2012, at 21h30. See "Seasons" below for seasonal broadcast dates and times.
Season 2 premiered on Vuzu on Monday 4 June 2012, at 21h30. New episodes broadcast weekly. There are 12 episodes in the second and final season.
Season 1
Chance and Real, the self-proclaimed "Stallionaires", do everything together. They live together, they produce and perform music together, they travel, date, eat, and even breed Arabian horses together.
And on VH1's I Love New York they both fell in love with the same woman. In fact, they made it to the final two and three respectively, and viewers were stunned when New York sent them both home broken-hearted and accepted a wedding proposal from another man.
But, for two men with so much in common, they are really quite different.
Chance is a player. He charms the ladies with his boyish enthusiasm and speaks his mind no matter who's listening. Real is the prince. The gentleman with a soft, romantic side he isn't afraid to show.
What they are looking for in a woman is also quite different, although in the end, they may both want the same girl.
In this series the Stallionaires will get their much deserved chance to find real love. Fifteen young ladies will move into their Stallionaire ranch house (like the Neverland Ranch without all the rides and... um... children) and fight for the brothers' love.
In each episode, the ladies will compete in challenges designed to test for the qualities Chance and Real are looking for in a woman. The winners will go on dates with their man. At the end of each episode, Chance and Real will pick which of the girls each of them would like to continue to date, and send one woman home broken-hearted.
In the final episode, Chance and Real will make the most difficult decision of their lives. With two women vying for each of their hearts, they must decide who they would like to take a Real Chance of Love with, and who's going home alone.
Season 2
The Stallionaires are back in the saddle for another "Real Chance of Love". That's right, America's favourite longhaired stallion and loudmouth buck are putting their hearts on the line one more time, in the hopes of finding true love.
For Chance, the first time around was a bust. He met some great girls and had a lot of fun, but in the end, there was no love connection. He left his first Real Chance of Love alone.
Real, on the other hand, didn't have any problems making connections. In fact he made quite a few. And in the end, he walked away with a wholesome, Midwestern girl named, Cornfed. But time, distance, and wanting different things put a strain on their relationship, and sadly, it ended.
Despite the disappointing outcome of their first season, the Stallionaires are not willing to give up on love. They're climbing right back into the saddle to find the girls of their dreams.
How? By moving 20 new girls into their Hollywood Ranch Mansion and doing it all over again. But this time, they're not leaving anything to chance.
Love is in the Stallionaire this season, as Real and Chance treat their ladies to romantic and adventurous dates. They're pulling out all the stops at the LA Zoo, their own private prom and at some of Hollywood's hottest nightspots.
On this season of Real Chance of Love, the Stallionaires will finally find true love and ride off into the sunset with the girls of their dreams.
