RuPaul's Drag Race is an American reality competition television series produced by World of Wonder for Logo in which drag queen RuPaul plays host, mentor and inspiration for the series, which details RuPaul's search for "America's next drag superstar."
Join RuPaul, the most famous drag queen in the world, as the host, mentor and inspiration on RuPaul's Drag Race, the ultimate drag queen competition.
Playing a dual role, RuPaul reigns supreme in all judging and eliminations, while RuPaul, the man, helps guide the contestants as they prepare for each challenge.
Contestants include the nation's most outrageous, cutting-edge, talented and stunningly gorgeous drag queens all fighting for the title (and tiara) as top drag queen of the land.
Joining RuPaul on the judges panel are fashion journalist and best-selling author Merle Ginsberg (Seasons 1 and 2), Project Runway breakout star and designer Santino Rice (Season 3 to Season 6), singer and radio host Michelle Visage (since Season 3), Carson Kressley and Ross Mathews (since Season 7), plus a bevy of celebrity guest judges.
Each cast member must embody the charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent that made RuPaul an international drag superstar. The judges will determine the bottom two contestants of the week.
Those contestants then compete in a show-stopping battle-royal "lip-synch for your life" performance that will determine if they will "shante" and stay and who will "sashay" away until one is crowned America's next Drag Queen Superstar.
Each week, through the trials and tribulations of glam, glitter and show-stopping performances, one drag queen is eliminated until finding America's next drag superstar.
RuPaul's Drag Race is produced by World of Wonder Productions with Fenton Bailey, Randy Barbato, Tom Campbell, and RuPaul Charles serving as Executive Producers. Mandy Salangsang, David Cortez and Steven Corfe serve as Co-Executive Producers.
Brent Zacky and Pamela Post serve as Executive Producers for Logo.
